Topshop AW12

Now that I no longer work for Topshop, I miss seeing the new season images before anyone else and being in the loop about what the trends are called. And I really miss being able to buy uniform.

So when I saw they had posted the images for AW12 on the In Syle website I went to have a look straight away. These are my favourites:

Even though they have roughly the same ideas for trends every AW (one 60s, one Gothic etc.), they always put a fresh spin on it, for example I really like how they have styled a lot of the images this year with flat shoes. I especially love that grey suit in the 4th picture.

Here are my favourite so far of the new season:

Roll on Autumn Winter! (I love the sun but AW dressing is so much better!)

Most Worn Jewellery

I haven't really got that much jewellery (apart from rings)as I'm quite picky and mostly go for simple designs that go with a multitude of outfits. Pretty much all the jewellery I have is gold, as I think it suits my skin tone more than silver or rose gold.

So these are the bits that I reach for over and over...

Two OOTDs: Prints

I came home to Bristol for 4 days as it was my sister's birthday on the 23rd. On Friday I met up with some of my friends in Bath for Wagamama's and a few drinkies, and this is what I wore:

Jacket: Bought from Kate via Instagram
Shirt Uniqlo
Leggings New Look
Flatforms H&M

It was funny cos you don't realise the amount of people who wear camouflage print until you have it on...old men, little boys haha!

Then yesterday I went to Wells with my mum and dad, there was an antique's fair and I got this chain for £1, which I loooove.

I wanted to take a photo of my outfit, but both of my parents just could not work my phone, so I gave up in the end and just decided to do my outfit in two different bits:

 Shirt Uniqlo
Necklace My Name Necklace
Trousers Topshop
Trainers Converse

Then I went round my auntie's for a lush butternut squash lasagne, before watching the X Factor and making my mum and dad put on facepacks with me.

When I watch the X Factor, sometimes I want the girls to go through just because I imagine the make over they will get when it comes to the live shows. Being a stylist on that programme must be so much fun, because you are working with a blank canvas.I would love it!

V Festival 2012

This weekend I went to V Festival with my boyfriend, his sister, and her husband.

We were lucky enough to be have VIP tickets so I spent the whole weekend hanging out in the Louder Lounge with the cool gang, it was so much fun! Luckily the weather was amazing on both days, which was great but sooooo sweaty.

Here is what I wore on day one:

T shirt Boy London
Shorts Topshop
Trainers Converse
Necklace River Island
Sunglasses River Island

Later on, I changed into a different outfit because I couldn't bear those pleather shorts for a moment longer in the intense heat!

Crop top Topshop
Skirt H&M
Trainers As before
Jacket bought from Kate via Instagram
Necklace As before

I look well on my way to drunken-ness in this photo haha!

I also got my nails done by Boom Nails

I made myself look well cool by getting super excited about meeting Boom Nails' founder Emma Zentner.

I didn't take a photo of my second day outfit as my hair was so dry it could have lined a rabbit's cage, and noone needs to see that.

Festival Arm candy:

Watch River Island
Spike Bracelet ASOS

I hope everyone that went to V Fest too had a wonderful time and didn't get heatstroke!
